As some of our accounts have now moved from traditional bricks and mortar selling to online selling; we are now highlighting an online retail policy for those availing of selling and showcasing our products/brand online.
Criteria to avail of online selling of Genesis/Mindy Brownes Interiors in Ireland:
- Accounts must have one at least one Bricks & Mortar Store where one or both of our brands are stocked.
- RRP: products should be sold at the RRP excluding sale period times outlined below. You must be an existing customer of Genesis/Mindy Brownes Interiors LTD to avail of selling our products online and should be selling at least four other similar quality brands online. Please reach out to our online team if you have any queries regarding this.
- Your website must be in keeping with our online brand image. Our marketing team will reach out with suggestions to help improve the brand image online where necessary.
- Logo placement: if the logos are to be used, they must be used in the correct format – please see brand guideline. This must be approved in writing by our marketing team first before any use of logos.
- In order to avail of our online selling facilities, you must have a turnover in excess of €10,000 for a minimum of four years with Genesis/Mindy Brownes Interiors LTD
Promotional Activity and Sales Online:
In keeping with our other online accounts, we strongly advise to keep the promotional calendar in line with other online retailers. This is part of our online agreement. It is to ensure a level playing field for everyone involved. We highly suggest you sell the product at RRP throughout the year and during sale time a discount of 10% off Genesis/Mindy Brownes Interiors is recommended. It keeps allonline retailers in unity as we do not want a race to the bottom in discounting the brand online and have made a conscious decision as a company to ask all retailers to sell at the RRP. Our own website will always sell at the RRP. We tend not to join in on the promotional calendars and if we do, we will inform you in advance. To keep within online sale periods with other stores please see the below calendar we are asking you to adhere to in order to sell our product online:
- Winter Sale - 27th December – 31st January (4weeks) ·
- Summer Sale – 4th June – 2nd July 9 (4 weeks)
- Autumn Sale – 17th September – 1st October (2weeks)
We kindly ask for a 10% discount on products excluding any NEWNESS which is clearly marked in theprice list, the out of stock sheets and the data capture form you provide us with. We have specials promoted throughout the year as you may be familiar with and these are also available to you.
These items you can keep on sale/promotion as you wish. They will be available until stocks fully runout. Our main aim is to keep the sale calendars in unison with one another in order not to upset the online consumer whilst shopping around. We want to avoid customers contacting your store or Genesis/Mindy Brownes Interiors LTD regarding discounted pricing and price matching
Brand Protection:
We do not want to fall under the realm of becoming a discounted brand online. As a business we have worked very hard to build our brand and have improved on brand image over the years. If marketed correctly to your customers you will have gained their trust in the Genesis/Mindy Brownes Interiors level of quality, value and unique style. A major selling point for Genesis/Mindy Brownes Interiors LTD.
Data Capture Form:
It is up to the online retailer to provide us with the correct data capture form. We do not take any responsibility for inaccurate information that may go live. It is up to each online team to test run new prices, product images etc to ensure the site is running correctly.
Imagery:
Images – only images that can be accessed through our drop box are to be used online. Under no circumstances are images to be taken from our social media pages or website, to include influencers,other store images or homes of customers. We ask all retailers to use all imagery supplied to them from recent image banks to ensure the brand is represented correctly on your site. Retail Pricing and Price Fluctuation:
Genesis/Mindy Brownes Interiors LTD are asking all partners to merchandise stock online at the RRP provided by Genesis Fine Arts Ltd. This ensures a level playing field for all retail partners. To sell our product online we strongly recommend you sell at the RRP provided by us. Prices may fluctuate throughout the year and if a price list is to be changed, we will circulate this in advance to give your online team time to adjust online pricing. Please ensure you are using the correct online prices.
Stock Fluctuation:
We ask all online retailers to work with our sales reps and office staff to ensure the stock visible online is in stock and up to date on your website. You must manage the stock as best you can online. We highly recommend not having stock on your website that cannot be fulfilled. Only display stock that we have in stock on your website. You must request the out of stock sheets to ensure your stock levels are correct.
Returns and Customer Service:
All returns must be dealt with by the retailer as well as any queries or complaints. We will not take responsibility for this.
